Sai Mai, a 26-month-old female tiger, plays with baby pigs at a zoo in Thailand's Chonburi province, 80 kilometers (50 miles) east of Bangkok, on May 7, 2004?. The Royal Bengali tigress was born in captivity and breast-fed by a female pig for four months after her birth.  The zoo is trying to boost visitor numbers by teaching domestic animals such as pigs, and wild animals such as tigers, to live together in harmony from an early age.  tigerzoo

Leonardo da Vinci is widely regarded as the archetypal universal genius. Between what was known of his work historically, and what has been learned about him since his notebooks were finally deciphered in the second half of the 19th century, we are amazed at the diversity of fields in which he brilliantly involved himself. From his writings and from what his early biographers wrote about him, we also find da Vinci was great in terms of his integrity and sensitivity to moral issues.

According to the Canada Food Guide’s recommendations for a vegan, a day’s food intake for me, a 142 pound, physically active male, aged 31 to 50, is 1 to 6 servings each of a fruit or vegetable, a grain product, a dairy or dairy alternative and a meat or meat alternative.  The “create-your-own-food-guide” feature only let me choose 6 in any one category.
